Lamar State College-Port Arthur seeks an Adjunct Instructor of Accounting responsible for teaching courses and fulfilling related duties. Classes may be scheduled during days, evenings, or online at various locations including on-campus and Early College High School.
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting, possess experience in the field, and possess proficiency in Microsoft Office tools. The position is security-sensitive, subject to a criminal background check as per Texas law.

The Adjunct Instructor of Accounting has responsibilities that include, but are not limited to, teaching accounting courses and completing all duties associated with teaching. Assigned classes may occur during the day, evening, and/or online with varying teaching locations including on-campus, dual enrollment, and Early College High School. This position reports to LSCPA’s Business and Industrial Technology Department.

Duties may include standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting or moving of equipment or materials up to 25 pounds. Visual and auditory acuity are required to ensure effective instruction and safe supervision of students in classroom and/or laboratory settings.
