Bachelor's Degree (Master's Degree preferred) in Civil Engineering, Applied Science or related field; 5-7 years progressive documented experience in applied science/Geomatics in a professional setting. Three years prior instructional experience in higher education preferred. Familiarization with learning management system mechanics is helpful.
Successful candidate will have acquired a functional understanding of concepts, principles, and methodologies pertaining to GIS and be able to communicate this information effectively to students; will have experience using Esri based GIS software and related GIS based applications; demonstrate prior knowledge of how to acquire all types of GIS data and perform basic data manipulations and analyses using the acquired data. Candidate will demonstrate basic skills needed to effectively present spatial information both in digital and printed format
