CCC Clovis Community College is seeking an Adjunct/Part Time Faculty member for the Industrial Technology program. You will prepare and teach courses emphasizing Electrical Maintenance, consult with students, and supervise on-the-job training.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Technical discipline and at least 3 years of relevant work experience, along with expertise in specific curricular areas.
This position offers compensation of $700 per credit hour and may require evening availability.

Under general supervision of and in accordance with Clovis Community College and departmentally established practices and expectations, adjunct instructors work collaboratively with other faculty within the College and their discipline to ensure that key concepts of the specific discipline are addressed. Part time instructor/coordinator in Industrial Technology program with teaching and OJT coordination duties under the supervision of the Division Chair of Occupational Technology.
Position requires frequent to continuous movement within the College, standing, walking, sitting and handling of small objects and may include climbing ladders, and lifting, pulling and pushing up to 50 lbs. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May be exposed to moving mechanical parts, and occasionally exposed to toxic or caustic chemicals. The noise levels in the work environment are usually loud. Protective gear (uniform, safety glasses, hair net, bump cap and ear plugs) is required at work sites.
Hours include, but are not limited to: Tuesday and Thursday from 5:30 PM to 9:15 PM. Hours vary based on course requirements. Occasional evening and weekend hours may be required.
