Job description

Responsibilities

Teaching strategies will be incorporated to foster studentlearning, success and retention. Adjunct faculty will work withother faculty in support of curricula improvement as appropriate topromote students' success and mastery of course and programcompetencies. The person in this position will plan, organize andteach classes as assigned. Flexible hours, days and assigned campuslocation may vary due to enrollment.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's degree in History

OR

Master's degree with at least 18 graduate credit hours inHistory.

KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES & SKILLS:

Compensation & Support

Adjunct faculty are paid according to Seminole State College'sNon-Bargaining Unit Salary Schedule, based on theinstructor's highest degree earned.

Conditions ofEmployment

Finalists and individuals recommended for employment at SeminoleState College must reside in the State of Florida at thetime of hire and may be subject to background investigationsand fingerprinting in compliance with Florida Statute 1001.64; andSeminole State College Policy 1.020; 2.020.
