Adjunct Faculty are responsible for teaching assigned courses, which includes developing and posting syllabi, preparing and delivering instruction, designing assignments and assessments, grading student work, and providing timely, constructive feedback. In addition, Adjunct Faculty are expected to engage in professional development, effectively utilize the College’s Online Learning Management System (CANVAS), and maintain open communication with students, colleagues, and supervisors. They may also contribute to curriculum improvement efforts aimed at enhancing student success.
Option 1: Master’s degree in Architecture, Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering, Construction Management, Engineering, Engineering Management, Engineering Technology, Land Planning and Development, Material Science, Safety, Surveying, GIS, Civil Engineering, Environmental Design and Planning, Technology, or other related construction discipline.
Option 2: Master’s degree with respective professional license in field and at least 18 graduate semester hours in any combination of the following qualifying fields:
Option 3: Master\'s degree in Business, Business Administration, or Project Management
AND
Bachelor\'s degree in Building Construction, Civil Engineering, Construction, Construction Engineering, Construction Management or closely related field
AND
Minimum Of 6 Years Of Professional Construction Experience
AND
Respective professional license in field such as Certified General Contractor, Certified Professional Building Designer, Professional Engineer, Project Management Professional, or Registered Architect or other recognized industry credentials.
Teaching Experience And Professional Registration Or License Is Desired.

THIS IS A POOL POSITION. Adjunct positions are temporary, part-time, and filled based on enrollment. While a posting may exist on our website, there may or may not be a need at this time; however, submitted applications remain active for one academic year and are available for the Department Dean to review on an ongoing basis.
