Qualifications

  • Ability to adapt instructional approaches and provide appropriate support for diverse adult learners.
  • Ability to successfully complete required background checks and other employment requirements, as applicable.
  • Competency with Microsoft Outlook and other Microsoft applications, Canvas LMS, Zoom, and other instructional technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals of diverse cultures, identities, language groups, backgrounds, and abilities.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Compliance training including Title IX responsibilities and Clery Act CSA requirements.
  • Title IX Compliance and Campus Security Authority experience (desired)
  • Background checks and related employment requirements (as applicable)

Job description

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
  • Required compliance training, including Title IX “Responsible Employee” requirements and, when applicable, Clery Act Campus Security Authority requirements
  • Associate’s or other relevant degree in education, teaching, adult education, training and development, or a related field (desired)
  • Degree, formal education, or advanced training in the subject matter or occupational area being taught (desired)
  • Recognized industry credentials, licenses, or professional certifications relevant to the subject matter or occupational area (desired)
  • Previous experience teaching, training, facilitating, coaching, or mentoring adult learners (desired)
  • Professional or industry experience demonstrating current, applied subject-matter knowledge (desired)
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills (desired)
  • Experience working with adult learners from varied backgrounds (desired)
