Position Summary: Adjunct supervisors are essential to providing a quality academic experience for Indiana Wesleyan University students. They employ onsite observation and mentoring strategies to foster the development of teacher candidates in practicum and/or student teaching. Applicants must have appropriate academic or professional experience, demonstrate a passion for teaching and learning, and be able to integrate their Christian faith into the mentoring role.

Responsibilities:

1. Respond to candidate journal reflections and review lesson plans prior to teaching.
2. Complete all required onsite field observations and in-person debriefs with teacher candidates.
3. Promptly complete each pedagogical evaluation and submit via Watermark.
4. Coordinate with Program Director and/or Academic Dean regarding field experience or student issues.
5. Evaluate all summative portfolio elements (student teaching only).
