Job Responsibilities

Central Carolina Technical College is accepting applications tobuild an active pool of qualified candidates for Adjunct Faculty(temporary, part-time) positions.

Under the general supervision of the Industrial Technology ProgramManager, performs duties related to instruction in the electricaldiscipline.

Lecture class on safety, electrical power, electricaltheory, household and industrial wiring, switches, troubleshootingof electrical circuits AC/DC as well as following work instructionsusing visual aids, such as graphs, charts, videos, and PowerPoint.

Maintain the safety of the students as a priority.

Delivertechnical product knowledge and skill-based instruction, includingcertification and customized curricula for the customer.

Implementapproved revisions to course material as necessary to activelyengage participants to maximize learning.

Continuously enhancetechnical instructional delivery and presentation skills.

Administer written and practical assessments to evaluate trainees'performance.

Completion and submission of any requireddocumentation upon conclusion.

Deliver attendance within theestablished deadlines.

Must have excellent communication andorganizational skills and be proficient in computer skills in themajor office applications, i.e. Word, Excel, Access.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

At least 5 years electrical experience, licensed electrician is aplus.

Previous experience delivering courses in a learningenvironment or other group training setting.

Candidates should be able to work independently, be self-directing, have good verbal and written skills.
