Job Responsibilities

Central Carolina Technical College is accepting applications tobuild an active pool of qualified candidates for Adjunct Faculty(temporary, part-time) positions.

Under the general supervision of the Industrial Technology andEnvironmental Program Manager, the National Center for ConstructionEducation and Research (NCCER) Instructor will be responsible forconducting training sessions, administering performance evaluationsand online evaluations within the area of expertise. The Instructorwill maintain the safety of the students as a priority. TheInstructor will also enhance their technical instructional deliveryand presentation skills. Completion and submission of any requireddocumentation upon conclusion as required by the NCCERAccreditation Standard.

Minimum and Additional Requirements

Be able to obtain an NCCER Certificate for Instruction inElectrical Construction. Experience at a minimum journey- ortechnician-level (at least 4 years) in the specific craft they wishto be certified to teach or A minimum of three years’ experience asa certified teacher in a vocational/technical construction ormaintenance-related training program in the specific craft theywish to be certified to teach.
