• Introductory school visits to introduce supervisor to cooperating teacher
• Schedule and conduct five formal observations during Student Teaching Practicum
• Monitor student teacher progress via weekly check-ins (emails, journals, texts, calls)
• Collect and send records of practicum activities and hours
• Support and coach school personnel and teacher candidates
• Establish positive rapport with candidate and cooperating teacher
• Communicate significant issues to Placement Coordinator
• Collaborate with cooperating teacher to evaluate progress and assign final grade
• Provide a letter of recommendation on Wheaton College letterhead at practicum end
• Conduct an Exit Interview with the candidate at completion
