Job Summary

Marymount seeks to build a pool of qualified individuals to teach Clinical Nursing Courses in local hospitals or clinical sites. Qualified applicants will be contacted as teaching needs arise.

Adjunct faculty are responsible for providing a quality learning experience for students on a semester basis. They serve as teachers and facilitators of learning, instructing specific courses within a department. The department chair will review all duties related to the courses being taught.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain office hours as needed.

Other Duties and Assignments

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field.
• Current RN license.
• Master’s degree at minimum; PhD preferred for graduate teaching.
