Qualifications

• Proficient in carpentry and construction management or relevant licensure/certification.
• Three (3) years' experience in carpentry.
• Preferred: associate's degree in carpentry or construction management.
• Teaching experience in the Technical College System of Georgia.
• Five (5) years' in-field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Instructs and supervises students in Carpentry / Construction Technology.
• Develops program and course outlines; prepares lesson plans for credited courses.
• Evaluates student progress and manages supplies, equipment and budget requests.
• Maintains safety, documentation, and program certification requirements.
• Assists with recruitment, retention and job placement efforts.
