Qualifications

• Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship Program specific to the carpentry trade; OR five (5) years industry experience at journey level.
• State Motor Vehicle Operator's License or demonstrable ability to gain access to work site(s).
• An appropriate combination of education, training, coursework, and experience may qualify a candidate.

Responsibilities

• Teaches assigned courses as scheduled and oversees curriculum in alignment with department policies.
• Maintains attendance records, submits grades timely, and communicates progress to students.
• Fosters inclusive teaching strategies and uses technology to support learning and record-keeping.
• Advises students on program, career, or transfer options and refers to support services.
• Maintains a positive classroom atmosphere and respectful environment.
