Job description

Adjunct, Anatomy

An experienced medical educator to teach Anatomy and Neuroanatomy to first year medical students on the Middletown, NY campus. TouroCOM faculty use an innovative “flipped” classroom approach to delivering the curriculum and students in the human anatomy lab learn through a combination of classical cadaver dissection, the study of plastinated models, and a custom designed holographic 3‑D anatomy system.

Responsibilities

• Participate in assessment of student performance through appropriate examination methods as assigned.
• Promote an appropriate atmosphere for student education and be responsive to students' needs.
• Serve on TouroCOM committees as required.
• Advise and mentor students.
• Participate in medical student admission interviews.

Qualifications

• Applicants must have at least an MS degree in Anatomy or a related field.
• PhD, DO or MD degree is preferred.
• Exceptional teaching at the medical school level in the areas mentioned above, with experience designing anatomy and neuroanatomy instructional materials, and working well with the rest of faculty team.

Maximum Salary

USD $150.00/Hr.

Minimum Salary

USD $120.00/Hr.
