Job summary

Arkema in Wisconsin is seeking a Chemist - Adhesives to contribute to the development of products for NA Durable Goods. You will support production scale-up, collaborate with R&D and sales teams, and assist customers with technical issues.

The role requires a BS in Chemistry or related field, with knowledge of adhesive application methods and general adhesive chemistry. Some travel and cross-functional collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• BS in Chemistry or related field required.
• Knowledge of adhesive application methods and general adhesive chemistry.
• Experience with MS Office and presentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Laboratory work and testing for customer requests including preparation of written and presentation reports as appropriate. 70%.
• Meetings/interactions with sales, business development, customers and plants including travel. 10%.
• Internal coordination and strategy development with business development, sales, and international team to identify and grow new business opportunities. 10%.
• Contributions to site lab activities including safety, maintenance, and 5S. 10%.
