The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related field and 2+ years of relevant experience, with strong customer focus and safety awareness.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional related work experience.
• Bachelor’s in Chemistry or related field is required.
• Strong focus on customers with ability to manage difficult or emotional customer situations.
• Responds promptly to customer needs while soliciting customer feedback to improve service.
• Continuously pursues training and development opportunities to improve technical skills.
• Observes safety and security procedures to identify and report on potentially unsafe conditions.
• Demonstrated ability to use lab equipment and materials properly.

Responsibilities

• Works directly with sales force and customers to collect application targets
• Maintains positive customer relationships, creates plans, and commits timelines to customers and sales team
• Leads projects with formulation direction from senior team members
• Prepares new product formulations to the design criteria specified by customers with a primary focus on modifications of existing products
• Analyzes products using laboratory instruments, procedures, and test methods
• Documents all laboratory plans, processes, and results in electronic laboratory notebook
