Sonoco Akron, IN adhesives plant is hiring a Production Worker to operate and maintain production equipment, participate in quality checks, and package finished goods. The role requires readiness for overtime and teamwork to meet production targets.

You should have at least 1 year in manufacturing/warehouse, be able to lift 50 lbs, hold forklift certification, and read manufacturing instructions. Reliability, initiative and teamwork are highly valued.

Formación

• You have at least 1 year in a manufacturing/warehouse environment.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• You have forklift certification and can safely operate a forklift.
• You can read and understand manufacturing instructions.
• You are reliable with good initiative and quality focus.

Responsabilidades

• Set up, operate, and maintain production equipment or machinery.
• Collaborate with departments and teams to ensure smooth production.
• Prepare, inspect, or measure raw materials.
• Check components for tolerances or specifications; may perform finish work.
• Package, store, and ship completed goods.
• Troubleshoot problems and adjust processes to maintain quality.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Perform duties in support of Sonoco’s quality and safety policies.
