Meridian Adhesives Group in Fort Wayne, IN, is seeking a skilled production operator to set up, changeover, and run filling and packaging equipment on the 1st shift. The role reports to the manufacturing team and participates in continuous improvement efforts.

Responsibilities include in-process quality checks and accurate production logging while adhering to safety and quality standards. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in filling/manufacturing are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in filling, packaging, or manufacturing roles preferred.
• Proficient in operating multiple filling and packaging machines.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication with leads, supervisors, and maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor multiple filling and packaging equipment.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and perform setup/changeovers.
• Troubleshoot routine mechanical or process issues on the production line.
• Document production logs accurately and consistently.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment.
• Report malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors.
