Job summary

AdaptHealth is seeking a Supervisor, Adherence Success to lead a team responsible for intake, processing, and review of medical records to ensure medical necessity and optimal payer adherence. The role focuses on driving patient experience scores, coaching staff, and optimizing workflows across sites.

You will manage 2–8 direct reports, develop SOPs, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with product and operations to improve payer processes and patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Two years of relevant health care administrative, financial, insurance customer services, claims, billing, home health and/or medical terminology training is required.
• Experience managing tasks in a Medicare certified HME or health care environment that bills insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee staff performance and ensure adherence to standards and goals.
• Train staff and ensure accountability for outcomes.
• Identify root causes and drive process improvements.
• Monitor key metrics such as accuracy and call-wait times.
• Manage department budget and prepare leadership reports.
