Job summary

Groves Academy is seeking an ADHD & EF Coach to support students in grades 1-12 with ADHD and executive functioning challenges. The role involves evaluating needs, setting goals, and delivering individualized coaching that enhances academic, social, and emotional outcomes.

Responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning tailored lessons, and maintaining progress notes. Collaboration with families and external providers is expected, with a focus on respectful, student-centered coaching.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years experience working with school-aged children with ADHD/executive functioning challenges as an educator, learning specialist, therapist, counselor, coach, speech-language pathologist, occupational therapist, etc.
• ADHD or life coaching certification (in progress or completed) preferred
• One-on-one or small-group instruction experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ADHD/EF Coaching using evidence-based practices.
• Conduct intake interviews and initial assessments and meet with families to review results and recommendations.
• Differentiate instruction based on students’ individual needs.
• Communicate openly and frequently with students’ parents/guardians regarding progress and concerns.
• Plan lessons and prep materials for sessions.
• Take data and monitor student progress to adjust plans.
