Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) is seeking an Additive Manufacturing (AM) Project Manager in Poway, CA.

This role leads AM program management for diverse projects, coordinating internal programs and customer-funded initiatives while interfacing with Quality, Materials, Design, and Procurement teams. Responsibilities include scope development, budgeting, and progress updates for multiple AM applications, IRAD/CRAD projects, process improvements, and training programs.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Business Administration or related discipline.
• 3+ years in project management within engineering contexts.
• Experience with AM production processes and PM interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute AM project scopes, plans, schedules and budgets.
• Act as primary POC between AM team and stakeholders; coordinate SMEs as needed.
• Own AM project schedule and budget for assigned projects.
• Drive communications and alignment across manufacturing, engineering, quality and program offices.
• Coordinate with external suppliers/DoD customers when applicable.
• Track project engagements and report progress to leadership.
• Promote AM knowledge transfer across GA-ASI and maintain AM libraries.
