Job summary

Linde Advanced Material Technologies Inc. in Indianapolis, IN is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Operations Technician for 1st shift (07:00am–03:30pm), Monday–Friday.

You will support safety, quality and lean initiatives and follow SOPs to perform daily production tasks. The role involves preparing for Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) 3D printers, using basic shop tools, troubleshooting, and coordinating supplies and shipping once production completes.

Qualifications

  • Must have a high school diploma or GED; technical certifications are a plus but not required.
  • Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with Additive Manufacturing or metal powders is preferred but not required.
  • Basic understanding of machining tools (milling, lathe, drill press).

Responsibilities

  • Support safety, quality and lean initiatives and follow SOPs to accomplish daily production tasks.
  • Read and use SOPs, JSAs, and schedules to perform tasks on the production line.
  • Operate and prepare Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) 3D printers.
  • Work with basic shop tools; perform troubleshooting and communicate critical issues to the team.
  • Assist with ordering supplies and shipping finished products.

  • You will support and participate incurrent and new safety, quality and lean initiatives / policies as businessneeds arise
  • Additionally, you will read, understand, and use StandardOperating Procedures (SOP’s), Job-Safety Analysis’ (JSA), and schedules toaccomplish daily production tasks
  • Youpossess the ability to work in a team-based, collaborative environmentwhere priorities may shift
  • Youwill be expected to perform all functions related to machine turnaroundand preparation for Direct Metal Laser Sintering (DMLS) 3D printers
  • Youhave proven experience working with basic shop tools and hand tools
  • Further, you will be expected to trouble shoot operational issues and relay critical informationto the team
  • Youwill be tasked with basic ordering of supplies and shipping products onceproduction is completed
