Job summary

Stratasys is seeking an Estimation Engineer in Minnesota to assess RFQs, provide DFAM guidance, and craft accurate quotes for additive manufacturing projects. You will work with Fulfillment Services and Operations to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes, while guiding customers on cost and feasibility.

The role emphasizes collaboration with Sales and technical teams, cost estimation development, and effective communication of requirements, risks, and solutions across the program lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Two years of estimation engineering experience, project management, or operations in an additive environment.
• Demonstrated initiative in process improvement and learning opportunities.
• Ability to work in a cross-functional team and communicate technical requirements clearly.
• Understanding of manufacturing process specs, standards, and technical documents.
• Ability to read 2D drawings and GD&T concepts.
• Experience with SolidWorks or CAD programs and with Microsoft Office products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quotes for additive manufacturing projects with limited supervision.
• Collaborate with customers to establish requirements and objectives.
• Provide recommendations for development and manufacturing methods.
• Analyze project specifications for feasibility and scope.
• Help manage quote documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Review CAD data and communicate manufacturing considerations to customers.
