Job summary

Stratasys Direct Manufacturing seeks an Estimation Engineer II to evaluate RFQs and deliver accurate quotes aligned with customer requirements. You will provide DFAM guidance, define timelines, and ensure costs and capabilities are clearly communicated, collaborating with Sales, Fulfillment, and Operations.

This role handles higher volume and more complex quotes, with greater ownership in cross-functional and client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Minimum of four years of experience in estimation engineering or related roles in additive manufacturing.
• Experience in cross-functional environments and clear communication.
• Understanding of GD&T and tolerances.
• Experience with SolidWorks or CAD programs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate quotes by reviewing 3D CAD models and drawings for manufacturability.
• Use cost estimation tools to calculate material, labor, overhead costs.
• Recommend production processes, materials, and design improvements for additive/manufacturing.
• Review CAD data using SolidWorks, Inventor, and similar CAD programs.
• Provide DFAM guidance and communicate costs, timelines to customers.
• Collaborate with Sales, Fulfillment, and Operations to ensure on-time delivery.
