Job summary

SIG SAUER, Inc. in New Hampshire is seeking an Additive Manufacturing Engineer II to lead and improve processes across R&D manufacturing. You’ll design new workflows, manage tooling, and collaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to deliver reliable, high-quality firearms components.

The role focuses on high-volume 3D printing, CNC machining, and process documentation, with a strong emphasis on GD&T, problem solving, and continuous improvement. 3–6 years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering with 3-6 years of experience.
• Knowledge of GD&T ASME Y14.5M-2009; Six Sigma or Red X certification is a plus.
• Experience evaluating and troubleshooting manufacturing processes and machinery.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SOLIDWORKS; basic Monday.com; data analysis tools.
• Ability to communicate clearly, work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement manufacturing processes for firearm products, with cost estimates for equipment.
• Procure tooling and equipment to meet launch timelines and targets.
• Identify improvements; perform cost-savings analyses and implement quality/throughput gains.
• Improve manufacturability with GD&T and dimensional stackups; debug new capital equipment.
• Provide production floor support for 3D printing and CNC machining; generate process drawings and routings.
• Lead and participate in 5S, safety, and ISO procedures; mentor production staff.
