Job summary

Linn County Alcohol & Drug Program seeks experienced clinicians to provide outpatient treatment for adults with substance use disorders and co‑occurring mental health needs. You will offer evaluations, individual and group therapy, and case management, serving a diverse population including those on parole or probation.

The role focuses on outreach to deflect eligible individuals to treatment, with strengthens in motivational interviewing, referrals, and coordination with community partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field is required for Specialist 1.
• Master’s degree required for Specialists 2 and 3; experience requirements vary by role.
• Oregon certification/licensure requirements per level (CADC Levels) apply for clinical positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient substance use disorder and co‑occurring mental health treatment.
• Offer screenings and ASAM assessments and assist with referrals and warm handoffs.
• Collaborate with Parole/Probation and DHS Child Welfare; some evenings and travel to outlying clinics.
