New River Valley Community Services seeks compassionate clinicians for its Outpatient Team to work with adults and/or adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. The role involves individual and group therapy, including the Intensive Outpatient Program, to support recovery.

Clinicians provide essential assessment, goal setting, and collaborative care, with licensure supervision for LPC and LCSW residents.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field required.
• Virginia Licensure as a Professional Counselor, Clinical Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide individual and group therapy with adults and/or adolescents with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Participate in Intensive Outpatient Program activities for individuals with substance use disorders.
• Assess clients, collaborate to create achievable goals, and support recovery.
• Contribute to a supportive treatment environment and coordinate with the treatment team.

Formation

Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, or other license-eligible Human Services field
