Spero Health, Inc. is seeking an Addiction Medicine Physician or Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Indianapolis, IN.

The role focuses on prescribing buprenorphine within an OBOT model, delivering comprehensive outpatient care for individuals with substance use disorders, and integrating medical and behavioral health services. We emphasize patient-centered care, education, and collaboration with a network of providers.

Formación

• Active and unrestricted medical license in Indiana.
• DEA license and prescriptive authority in state(s) where applicable.
• Experience in addiction medicine with medically and socially complex populations.
• Ability to work on-site with diverse care teams in various settings.
• Strong documentation and billing knowledge.

Responsabilidades

• Provide initial evaluation, diagnosis, treatment and ongoing support for individuals with addiction and related health conditions.
• Complete documentation to support professional billing for services.
• Educate patients and families about illness, prognosis and care plans.
• Interpret test results and provide feedback to patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to deliver medical and behavioral health care.
• Manage patient follow-ups and adjust treatment plans as needed.
• Coordinate with PCP and specialists when necessary.
• Review lab results and provide consultations on abnormal results.
• Maintain licensure, CME credits.
