This role:
- 15-20 patients per day - 40 minutes for initials, 20 minute for follow ups.
- Act the primary physician for medication assisted recovery for an Opioid Treatment Program and our substance abuse residential recovery programs located in Decatur, Illinois, in Central Illinois.
- Providing medical oversight and leadership to the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), detoxification/withdrawal management, and residential rehabilitation.
- Conducting medical evaluations and assessments for individuals seeking medication assisted treatment, detoxification/withdrawal management, and residential rehabilitation
- Option to be a medical director
Ideal candidates will have:
- Experience in addiction medicine or working with patients with opioid use disorder
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to OTPs
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
- Board certification in addiction medicine is preferred yet not required.
