A family oriented and welcoming mental health / addiction medicine group seeks an Addiction Medicine, Internal Medicine / Family Medicine Physician in Decatur IL! 2.5 months off / year paid! Option to be a medical director

This role:

  • 15-20 patients per day - 40 minutes for initials, 20 minute for follow ups.
  • Act the primary physician for medication assisted recovery for an Opioid Treatment Program and our substance abuse residential recovery programs located in Decatur, Illinois, in Central Illinois.
  • Providing medical oversight and leadership to the Opioid Treatment Program (OTP), detoxification/withdrawal management, and residential rehabilitation.
  • Conducting medical evaluations and assessments for individuals seeking medication assisted treatment, detoxification/withdrawal management, and residential rehabilitation
  • Option to be a medical director

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Experience in addiction medicine or working with patients with opioid use disorder
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to OTPs
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team
  • Board certification in addiction medicine is preferred yet not required.
