Job description

Job Opportunity: Physician for Dysphagia Evaluation Practice

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.

The practice is part of a larger network with sister practices in New England and Texas.

Benefits and approximate annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week range from $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There are no weekend or night call requirements, and malpractice coverage (including tail coverage) is paid for by the practice. In over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had a malpractice inquiry or action.

Our mission at Midwest Dysphagia Consultants is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit as shown on our website.

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit at various facilities, private offices, and for homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day, depending on volume and location. Our goal is to ensure staff are home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.

If interested, please email your CV and a contact phone number to us. You may also call for more information. We invite interested physicians to join us on the van to observe our practice firsthand. For more details, please visit our website or contact Professional Imaging.
