We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding areas, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team, with both full-time and part-time positions available. Physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation will be provided.
The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas.
Benefits and annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week are approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend. There are no weekend or night call duties, and malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. In over 400,000 evaluations over 19 years, we have not had a malpractice inquiry or action.
Midwest Dysphagia Consultants' mission is to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies for patients with swallowing difficulties. These consultations are delivered using a mobile unit, as shown on our website.
Our mobile unit services various facilities, private offices, and homebound patients. Requests for swallowing studies are routed through our office staff and are scheduled within 24 to 72 hours of receipt, with same-day scheduling possible depending on volume and location. Our goal is to ensure staff is home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
