Addiction Medicine/JFMA Physician
The Department of Family & Community Medicine at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, is seeking candidates for outpatient addiction medicine and primary care physician positions at the Sheller Bridge Program, the Hospital to HOME partnership, and the Jefferson Family Medicine Associates practice.
JFMA is the flagship academic training site of Jefferson's Department of Family and Community Medicine, serving a diverse patient population of approximately 30,000. The team includes faculty physicians, nurse practitioners, residents, fellows, and staff, committed to interprofessional, patient-centered care. Services encompass primary care, reproductive health, opioid use disorder treatment, gender-affirming care, and more. Established in 1974, the department has graduated over 380 family physicians, many of whom serve in underserved areas or pursue academic careers.
MD or DO degree, board certified or eligible in Family Medicine, with a valid PA medical license. Demonstrated commitment to health equity and anti-racist practices. Candidates from underrepresented backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
