Job description

We are an established medical practice serving Cincinnati, Indianapolis, and the surrounding area, specializing in evaluations for patients with swallowing disorders. We are currently seeking additional physicians to join our team. Both full-time and part-time positions are available, and physicians with various levels of experience are encouraged to apply. During training, compensation is provided.

About Our Practice

The practice is part of a network with sister practices in New England and Texas.

Compensation and Benefits

1. Annual income for working 4 to 5 days a week ranges from approximately $160,000 to $225,000 or more, depending on volume.
2. Benefits include health coverage, a 401(k) retirement plan, and an educational stipend.
3. No weekends or night call requirements.
4. Malpractice coverage (including tail) is paid for by the practice. In over 19 years and 400,000 evaluations, we have not had a malpractice inquiry or action.

Our Mission

Midwest Dysphagia Consultants aims to provide professional dysphagia consultations, including modified barium swallow studies, utilizing a mobile unit.

Work Environment

Physicians and speech-language pathologists request swallowing studies from our mobile unit at various facilities, private offices, and for homebound patients. Requests are routed through our office staff and scheduled within 24 to 72 hours, often the same day depending on volume and location. Our goal is to ensure staff are home between 4:00 and 5:00 PM daily.
