Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers, Inc. in Redding, CA is seeking a Full-Time Counselor to support patients on their recovery journey. You will conduct intakes, treatment planning, and ongoing counseling within our evidence-based program.

You will work with a multidisciplinary team, document care in the EHR, and participate in QA, risk management, and patient education. We offer competitive pay, PTO, holidays, and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in a relevant field with credentials to provide counseling services.
• Bachelor’s degree or GED with 75% certification coursework; Kern County requirements apply.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides orientation to new patients regarding program rules, policies, procedures, and rights.
• Conduct Intakes, Discharge Planning, Initial Assessments, and Initial Treatment Plans per guidelines.
• Involve patients in assessment, treatment planning, and intervention with SNAP-oriented approaches.
• Administer biopsychosocial assessments at intake and ongoing.
• Develop individualized Treatment Plans aligned with patient goals using SNAP.
• Determine clinical necessity of counseling services based on assessment.
• Monitor changes and address relapse indicators to support relapse prevention.
