Job summary

Pinnacle Treatment Centers is seeking a Counselor to support the recovery journey of our patients. You will conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, provide counseling, and ensure accurate documentation in line with federal and state standards.

The role offers a variable pay structure based on experience, education, and licensure, with opportunities for advancement through our Counselor Tier Program, monthly bonuses, and extensive continuing education resources to grow professionally.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required.
• TCADC, CADCAI, CADCAII credentials preferred.
• Master’s degree or higher required for Counselor III with LPCC/LCSW/LMFT credentials.

Responsibilities

• Complete patient databases, treatment plans, progress notes, discharge summaries in line with standards.
• Provide orientation to patients on program goals, phase requirements, rules, and patient rights.
• Assess and place patients according to treatment phases and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date clinical documentation and patient charts.
• Counsel patients in crisis situations and refer to resources as needed.
• Arrange referrals to community resources and participate in case conferences.
