Job summary

BrightView Health is seeking a dedicated Counselor to support individuals on their recovery journey within our treatment team in Virginia. You will plan and lead group therapy sessions, conduct patient intake assessments, and apply crisis and de-escalation techniques to support safe, compassionate care.

You will assist with treatment planning, monitor progress toward goals, coordinate care with a multidisciplinary onsite team, and ensure timely, compliant documentation in the electronic health

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in a relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Active entry-level clinical certification or licensure per state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Plan and conduct group therapy sessions and patient intake assessments.
• Provide crisis and de-escalation techniques.
• Assist with treatment planning and progress monitoring.
• Coordinate patient care with the onsite multidisciplinary team.
• Attend required meetings and ensure compliant communication.
