Job summary

Sense in Michigan is seeking an experienced test engineer to drive validation of ADAS and embedded automotive systems. You will design and execute test cases, perform bench and vehicle testing, and document results with a strong focus on quality and safety.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in automotive testing, hands-on ADAS experience, and proficiency with HIL/SIL tools like dSPACE and Vector CANoe, along with data-driven reporting and teamwork.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in automotive or embedded systems testing.
• Hands-on experience testing ADAS systems or similar safety-critical automotive systems.
• Knowledge of vehicle communication protocols CAN, Ethernet, LIN.
• Experience with HIL/SIL testing platforms (dSPACE, Vector CANoe, etc.).
• Ability to analyse data and generate detailed reports.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Perform manual and automated testing of ADAS.
• Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases based on system requirements.
• Operate bench testing equipment and vehicle testing setups.
• Collect and document test data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Analyze test results to identify issues, root causes, and system deficiencies.
• Generate test reports, including defect logs, test summaries, and compliance documentation.
