Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an HIL Validation specialist in Dearborn, MI to perform feature testing across ADAS, Chassis, Body, Diagnostic and Infotainment domains using rigorous HIL systems. You will utilize dSPACE tool chains including Control Desk, Automation Desk, Model Desk, and Motion Desk to build and execute tests, analyze results, and drive quality improvements.

Strong experience with CANalyzer and CAN protocols is required; IPG Carmaker familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in ADAS/Chassis/BODY/Diagnostic/Infotainment feature testing in HIL systems.
• Proficiency with dSPACE tools chain: Control Desk, Automation Desk, Model Desk, Motion Desk.
• Experience with IPG Carmaker, CANalyzer and CAN protocols.
• Test script and test case development, validation and report analysis.
• Test automation using ECU Test Tool; Python scripting is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct HIL validation testing for ADAS/Chassis/Body/Infotainment features.
• Work with dSPACE tool chain to execute and extend test scenarios.
• Develop test scripts and test cases; validate results and prepare reports.
• Contribute to test automation initiatives using ECU Test Tool; leverage Python where applicable.
