Job summary

ALTEN Technology USA is seeking a Performance Engineer to lead ADAS feature performance planning, validation, and reporting for production vehicle applications. You will establish targets, coordinate with simulation and test teams, and drive on-time delivery within program milestones.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 3+ years in related engineering, strong problem solving, communication, and willingness to travel 1–2 weeks domestically and internationally.

Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical/Mechanical/related field from ABET accredited or equivalent
  • 3+ years of related engineering experience
  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills
  • Ability to work across cross-functional teams and travel as needed

Responsibilities

  • Establish budgets and timing plans for assigned vehicle programs
  • Set objective performance targets for ADAS features based on benchmarks
  • Collaborate with simulation teams to improve requirement validation
  • Create and support validation plans for test engineering teams
  • Track status with scorecards and leadership-ready materials
  • Provide impact assessment for product changes
  • Prepare materials for leadership ride-and-drive events
  • Identify and resolve cross-functional issues affecting ADAS performance
  • Escalate roadblocks and develop risk mitigation plans
  • Identify gaps in the growing organization
