Job summary

General Motors Corporation is seeking an Automated Driving Performance HIL Infrastructure Engineer in Michigan to join the ADAS simulation team. You will build and integrate models, software, and hardware into a real-time HiL framework, manage dSPACE-based simulators, and partner with ADAS experts to extend virtual testing capabilities.

A strong emphasis on co-simulation infrastructure and cross-team collaboration is required.

Qualifications

• Experience with model-, software-, or hardware-in-the-loop control system simulation, especially with dSPACE HiL and Simulink.
• Vehicle controls systems experience (ADAS, chassis/powertrain) in development or calibration.
• Exposure to CAN or automotive Ethernet and active safety or autonomous driving domains.

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate models, software, and hardware into the simulation infrastructure.
• Manage HiL simulators (dSPACE) to support automated driving code development and validation.
• Collaborate with the ADAS community to expand simulation usage and reduce physical testing.
• Advance core co-simulation infrastructure and scout new tech to improve capability and robustness.
• Foster a collaborative, productive team environment and support program execution.
