General Motors is hiring an Automated Driving Performance HIL Infrastructure Engineer to advance simulation capabilities for ADAS validation. You will work with HiL tools, Simulink models, and real-time simulation to support automated driving features and sensor modelling.

The role emphasizes collaboration across software, capability, and program execution teams. Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in HIL/test execution with expertise in dSPACE, CarSim, and vehicle controls.

Qualifications

• Bachelors in Electrical/Computer/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in HIL simulation and test execution; 3+ years in HIL.
• Experience with vehicle controls and ADAS related development.

Responsabilités

• Create and integrate models, software, and hardware into the simulation infrastructure (e.g., Simulink models, 3D road networks, vehicle sensor models).
• Manage HiL simulators (e.g., dSPACE) to support autonomous driving code development and validation.
• Collaborate with ADAS teams to scale simulation use and reduce physical testing.
• Advance co-simulation infrastructure and scout new tools for robustness and efficiency.
• Foster a collaborative, high-performing team culture.
