Job summary

Kinetic Automation seeks an ADAS Calibration Technician to perform precise calibrations of advanced driver assistance systems, supporting vehicle safety and performance. You will diagnose, calibrate, and validate ADAS with OEM specifications while collaborating with engineering teams.

You will also mentor junior technicians, assist with documentation, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while supporting internal operations and customer service needs.

Qualifications

• Two years of automotive repair experience with hands-on ADAS calibrations.
• Technical proficiency with ADAS calibration tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Ability to lift ~50 pounds, use basic hand tools, and work outdoors.
• Certifications such as ASE A6 or B5; I-CAR ADAS Technician; MECP or equivalent.
• Education: high school diploma or equivalent.
• Passing grade on the Kinetic Technician assessment test.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and validate ADAS components to OEM specifications.
• Provide customer service and operations support with clear, professional communication.
• Follow OEM service procedures and adhere to industry safety practices.
• Perform diagnostics, electrical troubleshooting, and system setup for ADAS.
• Handle vehicle pickups and drop-offs as needed for calibration tasks.
• Document calibration steps and produce reports for traceability.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to improve calibration processes.
• Mentor junior technicians to support skill development.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
