Job summary

Kinetic Automation Inc. is seeking an ADAS Calibration Technician in Santa Ana, CA, to perform precise calibrations of advanced driver assistance systems and support vehicle safety, maintenance, and performance requirements.

The role requires sharp ADAS knowledge and independent troubleshooting abilities. You will calibrate and validate sensors (LIDAR, RADAR, cameras), assist with diagnostics, and mentor junior technicians while maintaining rigorous safety and OEM procedure adherence.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated skill with ADAS calibration tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Two years of automotive repair experience with hands-on ADAS calibrations.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass an MVR check.
• Able to lift ~50 pounds and work outdoors as needed.
• ASE/B5 or I-CAR/MECP certifications or equivalent training.
• Passing grade on Kinetic Technician assessment test.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, diagnose, and validate ADAS components to OEM specs.
• Communicate with customers and support dispatch schedules.
• Follow OEM procedures and safety guidelines for calibration.
• Perform electrical diagnostics and module setup; conduct in-depth testing.
• Transport and handle vehicles for calibration as needed.
• Document calibration steps and create detailed reports for traceability.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve calibration processes and software.
• Mentor junior technicians and promote professional growth.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and adhere to safety protocols.
