Job summary

The Ability Center seeks a Program Manager to lead the 360Outdoors program for Ability360 Sports & Fitness Center members. The role requires coordinating adaptive outdoor activities, ensuring safety, and collaborating with staff and volunteers.

You will manage calendars, staff schedules, and outreach, with occasional overnight travel and fleet/vehicle operations as needed to deliver inclusive recreational experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Adaptive Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field.
• Three years of professional experience working with people with disabilities in fitness/recreation.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate year-round 360Outdoors programs focusing on adaptive group activities.
• Work with program leads to ensure safety and programming needs are met.
• Create and maintain the 360Outdoors calendar.
