Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires ability to communicate effectively with students, families and staff.
• Ability to plan and implement instructional goals and instructional delivery.

Responsibilities

• Assess students and participate in testing to identify learning needs.
• Participate in PPTs and help develop IEPs for students.
• Assist with implementing IEPs and behavior plans.
• Coordinate with outside agencies and authorities as needed.
• Collaborate with administrators and staff to assess student needs.
• Provide counseling and serve as liaison between home and school.
• Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning and seminars.
• Maintain accurate student records and report information to colleges and employers.
