Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and preparation or experience teaching a diverse student population.
• Valid Washington State Teaching Certificate with Special Education Endorsement.
• Ability to plan and adapt instruction for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Foster an effective learning environment and establish/adapt objectives for students.
• Deliver instruction, counsel, discipline, and supervise students to meet individual needs.
• Evaluate student performance and progress.
• Plan instructional programs and prepare individualized lesson plans.
• Modify curricula and plans to fit student needs and districts guidelines.
• Attend required staff meetings and participate in professional development.
