Marana Unified School District is seeking staff to provide support to students with disabilities, helping them access education and meet IEP goals. The role includes tutoring, clerical duties, and potential medical tasks under licensed supervision.

Requires a high school diploma, CPR/First Aid, CPI within 6 months, and a valid AZ driver’s license. 9-month position, 35 hours weekly, $17.64/hour, with recruitment and retention stipends upon hire and after 90 days.

Formación

• Supports students with disabilities to assist with IEP-related services.
• Must have High School diploma or equivalent and CPR/AED/First Aid.
• Willing to receive CPI certification within 6 months of employment.
• AZ Driver’s License and Finger Print Clearance required.
• Basic math and data entry skills for records and Medicaid billings.
• Ability to work with students one-on-one and in small groups.

Responsabilidades

• Provides a safe, supportive environment for students with special needs to access education.
• Accompanies and assists students throughout the school day per IEP.
• Provides tutoring/remediation in small groups or 1:1 under a certified teacher.
• Transcribes instructional materials into Braille as needed.
• Performs medical tasks under licensed medical providers as assigned.
• Maintains records and Medicaid billings; performs clerical duties as assigned.
• Assist with IEP meetings coordination and related paperwork.
