Peace Living LLC is seeking an Adaptive Skills Professional in California to support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. The role focuses on developing adaptive skills, socialization, and community integration in a diverse population.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a related field, have a valid driver’s license, and experience designing adaptive training plans.

Qualifications

• Master’s Degree (in Psychology, Education, Social Work, Counseling, Nursing, Behavior Analysis, Behavioral Medicine, Speech and language, Rehabilitation, or a related field)
• 1 year of experience designing adaptive skills training plans or with developmentally disabled individuals
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds
• CPR, First Aid, and fingerprint
• HIPAA and related trainings familiarity

Responsabilités

• Foster development of socialization skills and community orientation
• Support self-care, meal preparation, money management, and vocational assessment
• Assist with public transportation usage and social/leisure exploration
• Work with a diverse population of students and adults
• Participate in ongoing training and performance-based allowances
