Edu-Aids is seeking an Adapted PE Instructor in Canal Winchester, OH (part-time, 2 days per week) to support students with diverse needs through inclusive physical education.

The role involves planning adapted PE lessons, modifying activities for accessibility, and collaborating with teachers and families to reach IEP goals. We value compassionate, team-oriented educators committed to student success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education, Special Education, Kinesiology, or related field.
• Valid Ohio teaching license or certification in Physical Education preferred.
• Experience with students with disabilities in educational or therapeutic settings preferred.
• Knowledge of adaptive physical education and inclusive teaching practices.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement adapted physical education lessons based on students' abilities and needs.
• Modify activities and equipment to ensure accessibility and participation.
• Provide direct instruction in individual, small-group, and classroom settings.
• Support students in achieving PE and IEP-related goals when applicable.
• Assess student performance and monitor progress throughout the school year.
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, administrators, and families.
• Maintain records and documentation; ensure a safe, inclusive environment.
• Participate in meetings, PD, and trainings as required.
