Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED plus 1 year educational/clerical experience.
• Equivalent education/experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Assists teacher with classroom instruction and adapts materials for students.
• Provides one-on-one or group tutoring as needed.
• Monitors behavior inside and outside classroom; escorts students.
• assists with cleanup and related tasks.
• Prepares materials and homework folders for activities.
• Assists with grading papers.
• Attends in-service trainings and meetings.
• Participates in testing and updates student information in systems.
• Maintains bulletin boards, displays, supplies, and parent contacts.
• Other duties as assigned.
